C-FYUE

C-FYUE is a 1964 Piper Cherokee 180 (PA28-180), providing 180 horsepower with the Lycoming O-360-A2A. 

Purchased in December of 2015, it became a large addition to the club's history. 

In December 2020, the club improved the avionics and replaced the upholstery, utilizing the services of Northern Avionics and Airewest Upholstery at the Calgary/Springbank Airport (ICAO ID: CYBW).

C-FYUE is equipped with:
  • A 4-place intercom
  • Garmin Aera 510
  • PMA-6000B Audio Panel
  • Garmin GTR-225 Radio
  • Garmin GTX-327 Transponder
  • Garmin USB Power Supply
  • Hobbs Meter

In August 2024, we have zero-timed the engine and replaced the propeller.

This aircraft allows members to use it for an hour, over the weekend, long trips, quick trips, or just circuits.  Please note that we typically hold our meetings in Okotoks, however the aircraft is based out of the Foothills Regional Airport (ICAO ID: CEN4).
